Short version: the app collects nothing.
Your files
When you turn on the disk, the app serves the files you chose directly from your iPhone to your Mac over your own network (Wi-Fi, your iPhone's hotspot or a cable). The connection is encrypted. Your files are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no servers that could receive them.
Data we collect
None. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The disk's password and certificate are made on your iPhone and stay in its Keychain.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not see your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to them.
Local network
The app asks for Local Network permission so your Mac can find and open the disk. It only answers devices on your own network that know the password.
